Last year I met Joey Karate in a packed elevator in Mandalay Bay on my way to get some breakfast. At first I didn't realize it was him, but I was able to subtly maneuver my arm through the tightly packed metal box and touched his elbow with my forefinger. When he looked up from my attention-grabbing poke I quietly mouthed 'You're the man' then he raised his fist in the air at me and grumbled something indecipherable, especially in Las Vegas before noon.
