Throw out the unified rules and make the ONE FC rules the new unified rules. I think that's something we, as a whole, can be unified on. Right? There isn't a single one of us who doesn't want to see a beautiful soccer kick landed upon a tired and beat up opponent who is clinging to consciousness in the cage, and Zoro delivered that beautiful violence to us tonight. Zoro Moreira proves once again to be a master in the art of hurting people - a lot. First he brutalized Andy Wang, then he armbarred Felipe Enomoto, now he scores a goal from midfield with Roger Huerta's head.

One must wonder how Michelle from Colorado feels about this.

After spending much of his time trying to close the distance to the much bigger Zoro, Roger Huerta ended up getting systematically taken apart on the feet, then gassed hard midway through the fight. All of that set up one of the most highlight worthy soccer kicks we've ever seen. Welcome back soccer kicks. This is just awesome. God owed this to us after Guida/Maynard.

There is a reason the ref jumps in between the fighters to stop a fight. If he didn't want Huerta to get kicked he should have been in a better position to stop the fight. Especially considering the battering he took before the kick. Verbal commands don't cut it son. Safe to assume you've never been in a fight?

Umm cuz he wasn't yelling "No Kick, No Kick" he was saying "Low Kick, Low Kick" which is the Ref's signal to the fighter that the kick was/is ok to Throw..soccer kicks are allowed, but only at certain times/angles if not mistaken

Its actually safer to kick a guy while he's grounded than kicking him while upright.. Knocking a guy out with a standing head kick causes their head to bounce off the canvas once they drop which causes the brain to bounce around the skull more than the headkick does causing more damage( your brain moving around your skull is how K.Os happen & how "chins" deteriorate the more the brain is displaced the easier it becomes for it to be displaced with less powerful shots).. also a guy falling over from a headkick K.O has more of a chance to land awkwardly and further injure him/herself(thi nk cro cop's leg being folded up under him).. no human can generate enough power in a kick or punch to break a neck the neck is incredibly strong (google Dan Miller guillotine to see how durable a neck is)

Personally, I think the kick was legal. Roger Huerta was on the ground, and looked like he was pursuing the single leg takedown. Yuji Shimada (the ref) shouted "LOW KICK, LOW KICK" not "no kick no kick".

But whatever it is, ONE FC has put Asian MMA back on the world map. Bringing back all the kick ass action. We are MMA fans, we love this sport because it is raw and it tells a story about who the best fighter is. No more turtling up, no more putting one finger on the ground to avoid getting kneed, no more pulling guard unnecessarily. This is FOR REAL, THIS IS WHY WE LOVE THIS SPORT. The sport we love is raw, its IN YO FACE, its hardcore,its the true test of who is the greatest fighter on the planet. ONE FC > Pussyfied American MMA
