Looked at the video time. Round should have ended at 10:38, Lewis gets KO'd at 10:41 and ref steps in at 10:44.

It's easy to throw those kicks when the dude is just standing back. You have to fight a guy like that on the inside. Push him against the cage and dirty box his ass. Or take him down. Pretty impressive still though.

Wendle Lewis tried the tactic of getting inside and wrestling but Galores got good takedown defence. He's also got the same sort of dexterity in his legs that BJ Penn has which is why he is hard to take down. Plus once you get him down you have to keep him down and galore is very good naturally at getting out of bad positions as hes very explosive.

I think galore would do well in UFC but as he's a mate maybe im being a bit biased. But definately in UCMMA I don't see anyone hanging with him other than khalid who is his team mate but that fight wouldn't happen for that very reason.

So you don't think that the Ko was impressive and that most fighters can finish fights in that fashion?

Wendle stood there staring because galore threw a few shadow kicks that were not meant to land but meant to keep wendle at distance and make him think that he was out of range and safe although clearly wasn't.

He might not have landed all those kicks but the fact that he landed some must have made wendle worried to engage.
