We heard the crowd polarize from resounding chants of 'USA!' to 'Brazil!' during Cain Velasquez vs. Bigfoot Silva. It was like a Run DMC concert, but instead of responding with waving your hands in the  air like you just don't care, you state your nationally instead. It's sort of not that thrilling. Waving one's hands in the air is a good way to let off steam. It's also an excellent way to remind your neighbor how your armpits smell.

Tonight was Cain's first bout inside the Octagon since he lost his first MMA fight against the current champion, Junior dos Santos on November 12th 2011. Apparently Cain Velasquez was arrested for assault and battery tonight after his fight with Silva. Nevada police officer Sgt. Ray Johnson, who was first on the scene, said in his first official statement "Mr. Velasquez attacked Mr. Silva in a way that none of our behavioural pyschologists can classify as 'human'. We are considering pressing charges for attempted murder, resiting arrest and 25 counts of assualting an officer of the law. When we attempted to initially arrest Mr. Velasquez, he furiously pummeled several of our officer's unconscious while yelling 'Brown Pride!'. 20 of our officers were struck down. What can I say, the man is a cardio machine."

Antonio Silva was fucked. He didn't see many of the shots coming because of the blood in his eyes. That must feel real scary when you can't see shit and there's a monster on top of you throwing all kinds of shots your way.

I think it sucks when people say elbows should be illegal because they just open cuts that end fights. Well, in a fight that can happen. Should leg kicks be banned because they might mess up your leg and hamper your movement, making it more difficult to put on an offense and defending yourself?
