Sorry if this post-fight article arrived late. I was busy watching the crowd ignite inside the MGM Grand Garden arena after Dan Hardy realized he was Dan Hardy. It took 231 seconds into the first round for Hardy to have his magical self-realization. There's a reason why Dan Hardy has been the number one welterweight people prefer to select in UFC Undisputed for nearly two consecutive years. You probably don't believe me, but I've seen UFC fighter statistic spreadsheet directly from THQ's office. I'm probably not supposed to tell you any of that UFC Undisputed stuff, but Dan Hardy just put on an impressive performance at UFC 146 against Duane Ludwig, so everyone has to step their game up tonight. I want you to party harder than you've ever partied before. Dance like it's 1999 and you really bought into the entire y2K hype. Play videgames like the cure for the common cold depended on it. Just don't forget to read MiddleEasy throughout all of it.

You can tell by the way Bruce Buffer jumped in Dan Hardy's face as he yelled 'Nottingham, England' that tonight would be something special. For Hardy it was his first win since November 14th 2009 -- that's back in the day, folks. Osama Bin Laden was still alive. Fedor was still the most dominant fighter currently in MMA and people really thought Gina Carano would come back to MMA after her loss against Cris Cyborg in Strikeforce. It was a different time then, but tonight I'm pretty sure the entire world witnessed the old Dan Hardy ooze onto his fists like a puddle of dynamite. All of that sounds laced with sexual innuendo, so I'll just stop right there. Good fight Dan.
