It was fake. Look I love Cro Cop, and he legit beat Vovchanchyn before the Dos Caras Jr fight so I don't know why it was a work, my suspicion is to falsify a warpath. Cro Cop would've legit stomped Dos Caras but he would've stayed in there longer than necessary to create such a dominant performance. I was actually talking about this exact fight about a week prior on Twitter. I have a feeling that the whole "that masked guy" is Chael's way of saying "who fucking cares what his name is." And not that he doesn't know who the guy is.

If you watch it, and it's one of the Pride Bushido series, maybe 1 or 2, I can't remember, I watched all of them in a short period. But you'll be able to see the hit was a slight glace, more of a miss than anything, and they get a shot of Dos Caras looking around perfectly cogent. Even though he's laying on the ropes for effect, he's not in a KO state. Dos Caras is Alberto Del Rio, he's always been a pro wrestler, and even if he's annoying he's one that can sell a punch or a kick.

Did you ever wonder why they'd have like 2 or three fights in between the legitimate ones where you honestly have to look and say "who the fuck is this guy and why is he fighting Cro Cop?", they're padding their resumes.

That's not to say all their fights were fixed though, some were brutal, and they should be heroes for those. Chael's not off the mark in saying that they had fixed fights and stuff though, and you have to understand he's doing it to entertain people and himself. He doesn't legimately believe everything he says he just knows people like you will get all fired up about it. He's playing the role of a heel in pro wrestling. And he's trolling you all.
