Is it just me or does it seem like the UFC only promotes american fighters? GSP and Anderson have been champs for years and accomplished much more, yet they promote Jones like the's the second coming of jesus christ or some shit. They did the same with Brock.

I don't think they have ever had to promote GSP and Anderson Silva, they won over their own fanbase, which Jones has had a lot more trouble doing. With GSP getting a lot of criticism the last couple of years and Anderson getting older, I think they are just setting Jones up to be able to carry the company, just like they did Brock to pull in all of the WWE crowd.

Other parts of the UFC company have more about the fighters from their countries. Every once in awhile the main UFC page will show a video from UFC Brazil where Brazilian fighters have got their own shows and such.

Read an article on him in a Men's Journal while waiting for a haircut, and it made the shocking revelation that Jones unlike other MMA competitors is ACTUALLY an athlete and could compete in another sport. WTF most fighters were athletes in other sports...boxing , wrestling, judo, BJJ, football etc.

here's my humble opinion... the commercial is great, it's awesome editing... and i bet it would appeal to more people then not. Come on, the kid is trying to touch his hero, and Jones kisses his forehead.. that's a powerful message!

...as for dropping Lyoto after the submission, I got no problem with that.. what was he supposed to do... push the ref away and hold Lyoto in his arms until the doctor comes in... (: come on, it's a fight ref says let go you let go..

...all that said, religious comments I don't like, it's kinda rude to all the people of different religions, who think their god is better then yours.. this injustice disturbs me mildly only because i'm an atheist ...other then that Jon's a great fighter and a true star in MMA.
