Well the PPV numbers were just released (Kevin Iole ftw) and...wow. Mayweather/Marquez pulled one million PPV subscribers which accounted for $52,000,000 in PPV revenue alone. Yeah, he said that after he knew he was going to lose the battle. He wanted to put on a MEGA card for UFC 103 to shup up PBF but he had trouble finding main eventers.

HUGE boxing event vs mediocre UFC event. Dana shouldn't have opened his mouth on this one. We never had a chance. But yes, MMA will over take boxing revenue in the long run. Give us the time boxing has had and MMA will put boxing records to shame someday.

I'm the biggest MMA fan but I was raised on Boxing. All the criticism about boxing right now is true but I really didn't want to see any of the other fights more then Marquez/Mayweat her. 104 only has 3 matches I really want to see and Okami's fight I'm hoping they show on Spike or gets kicked up to the main card.
