I first met Kron Gracie in the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles for an EA Sports MMA pre-launch party. We both hogged the controllers while everyone eagerly looked at the game for the first time. The owner of RVCA laughed at us because we had no idea what we were doing. It was a button-smashing gallery of mistakes, and somehow Kron Gracie won the chaotic battle. He submitted me off his back with the digital representation of himself in EA MMA. The next night, I ran into Kron at the EA Sports launch party in Hollywood, CA. We talked about his father, Rickson Gracie, specifically the aura that previous fighters claim surround him when he steps in the ring. Kron then went on to break down his entire family lineage as we stood next to the open bar -- and it was one of the most entertaining things I've heard from anyone. Now it appears Kron gave another historical breakdown of the Gracies at Universal MMA in Vancouver, BC, Canada. His entire lineage are a bunch of cheaters who don't fight without special rule provisions, and if they do, they either cheat or make excuses about losing. They also take 100% credit for creating BJJ, and about the only thing they ever invented was the name, which of course they called Gracie Jiu-jitsu because of how great they are. His father specifically created a myth about himself and how great he actually isn't, and then only "proved" it by hand picking fast food employees in Japan and calling them fighters.
Truth is they're a bunch of glorified businessmen.

Too many bogus Gracie's to actually take them serious anymore. The few I respect are the older guys(Carlson, Helio, Carlos), the newer generation Gracie's are just living off the name making money in random gyms all across the world.

It doesn't help that most of the Gracie's are scumbags, and like the above poster said cheaters.

Everyone who fights should learn jiu jitsu, just not from the Gracie's...

What you were talking about you'd know thar rvca sponsors kron and has for over 2 years. Kron runs his dads studio on la, and ri ksonspends most of his time in brazil. O wouldn't hold your breath on kron fighting ufc. It won't happen

I guarentee none pf you pussies can fight. You can't even pernounce their name. Rickson is hands down the greatsest fighter Ever.dana white wouldn't let him fight in the ufc. Becaise he watched rickson go 580wins/0 loses in pride and that was thelate 90's.
