Here's your first lesson for 2012: Never doubt the Sunday Morning Rumor Mill. It's one of the few things in this universe that you can depend on, on a weekly basis. For those that didn't read the SMRM in its entirety, this was the leading item in our feature this past Sunday:

"After last night's Strikeforce card, someone very close to Luke Rockhold (younger brother, cousin...etc) stood outside the arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and repeatedly yelled 'Keith Jardine sucks!' Within seconds, an older lady approached the guy from behind and started pummeling him in the back of his head and right shoulder. The security guards rushed to break up the unexpected altercation. Bewildered, the guy asked who started attacking him for no apparent reason. A security guard simply responds with 'That was Keith Jardine's mom.'"

Penn's momma seems a lil more ill tempered though, As for Luke Rockhold, dude is on a tear an should be fighting Top Competition, really hope they send over Okami, Franklin maybe Leben?(oh wait he's suspended yet again :/) Either way they need to send over some fighters. As long as were not stuck seeing Koscheck or Fitch against Woodley, Ill be happy on who ever they send, if anyone

Oh yeah that makes sense, send elite fighters rooted in the top mma division to a sub-par mma division because one of their fighters is mediocre tearin up hacks and has-beens.

Why do all mma fans jump on the hype of a fighter and demand he 'fight silva' like I've heard since last night.

I never said he should fight Silva right away, and if you posted more on here you'd now that quite a few of the regular posters here have been High on Rockhold from pretty much his 1st or 2nd fight in SF. As for sending over other fighters, why the fuck not?? Both owned an operated by the same fucking company, theyve run out of 'name' fighters, hence him fighting fucking Jardine, UFC has plucked them clean almost so why shouldn't they fill the ranks back up? Than maybe go a do a Year end show with all the Top Talent from both? Sounds good to me an a fucking ton of others...

agreed, seems like the best idea for both to be equally marketable and provide equally exciting fights on both sides. think bout this you have your fighters who on a way down so to speak back to back losses. why not send them to strike force and let them have a run there. fills ranks and provide names that fill seats, imagine hardy hahah finnaly win again..
