The only thing that's lacking in Joe Antonacci's 'Joe Palooka', the world's first full-length MMA comic book, is an appearance by the Infinity Gauntlet. I expressed my gratitude of the alien device a few weeks ago in my One FC article, but it may have been overlooked that Friday evening. To clarify, however powerful you think your favorite superhero is, his/her power would pale in comparison to the Infinity Gauntlet. It doesn't need to be charged, there is no prerequisites for its operation and you don't need to be some Norse god to equip it. Anyone can literally don the gauntlet and immediately take over the entire universe -- or alternatively be the living embodiment of the universe. You guys need to read more old-school Marvel, but in the meantime check out this hi-res panel of 'Joe Palooka' personally provided by comic book creator, Joe Antonacci. i still like the guida vs. pettis comic strip more.. actual fighters and it even showed a couple of their signature characteristics .. appreciate the support of this beautiful sport though!

First off, let me put on my glasses and cross my arms before I give this piece a much needed examination.

Now, if I'm trying to sell an MMA comic book I'd give the potential customers a teaser of a story line (preferably a glimpse on rise and fall, perseverance, etc.) along with the violence; not just wham bam thank you ma'am.

Give us fans some credit, we're not field cows.

Pretty interesting.

Although out of all that I've read, I felt that Jiro Taniguchi's "Garouden" comic (based from a novel) felt closer to reality than anything out there, and it was made in 1989. I'm really impressed at the ground game depicted in the last couple of chapters:
