When Wu-Tang Clan made that song 'Wu-Tang Clan ain't nothing to [expletive] with', they were really talking about Karlos Vemola. Unfortunately, no one informed Jon Madsen of this nugget of musical knowledge when he defeated Karlos Vemola at UFC 116 in a unanimous decision. It was somewhat unexpected seeing that Karlos trains by slamming a hammer into a car, but the UFC decided not to cut him for the sole reason that this guy truly is the future of mixed martial arts. Karlos Vemola may not be the greatest technical striker (yet), but the guy fights like he's been reprimanded by catholic nuns his entire life. Before UFC 116, Vemola was undefeated with only two of his seven fights lasting over a minute and one of his bouts ending in only five seconds. In his next UFC bout against Seth Petruzelli, he managed to harness the power of our aspirations and handed the Kimbo Killer a TKO at the 3:46 in the first round. Now that Ronny Markes is currently in Karlos Vemola's warpath this weekend at UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle, Woah! TV and MiddleEasy have teamed up to present to you the first episode of our series appropriately entitled 'Warpath.'

In all seriousness, many people in the strength training world take shots of olive oil as a source of clean calories.

His training is a little unconventional- -many people in MMA favor lower rep, higher weight training for maximal strength while Vemola sticks with 8-12 reps, traditionally a bodybuilding thing. But it obviously works for him because he ate Seth Petruzelli's goddamn lunch.

I guess my main concern with Vemola's training is his cardio. Isn't he very famous for finishing fights quickly and decisively? I wonder how he would survive a three-rounder, or how he would fair on the ground.
