In the addition to the face rearrangement Martin Kampmann granted Diego Sanchez last night at UFC Live, both fighters came out with roughly a total of $220,000, including a $160,000 bonus. It probably helps mollify it but there's no way to get that L off his record. Furthermore, if he hadn't been robbed in his last 2 fights, he'd be fighting for the title where he'd assuredly be seeing a bigger payday, if not for the fight then from sponsors. And the opportunity cost of fighting for the title is HUGE because if he were to win then he would definitely make a LOT more money going forward.

I'm sure he appreciates the money but I'd be willing to bet he would've rather had the W.
