After Tito's fight against Lyoto Machida in 2008, the guy's spinal cord sort of exploded in his body. Tito Ortiz's spinal cord Sub-Zeroed on him, which meant he was forced to spend over a year at home with a pornstar. That's the trade off God gives you after you screwed up your back -- your spinal cord in exchange for a hot pornstar. Months passed, babies were born and on July 1st 2009, Tito announced at the UCFC (notice the 'UCFC', not the 'UFC') that not only was he signing a four-fight deal with Strikeforce, but that his fourth fight would be against Fedor Emelianenko. Everyone believed him, and then later that month Tito resigned with the UFC. It made no sense, but very few things in life actually do.

Ortiz returned to the organization at UFC 106 when he lost a split decision to Forrest Griffin. Tito then claimed that he took the fight with a 'cracked skull' and that he would perform better in his next bout. Matt Hamill was slated to be Ortiz's next opponent at UFC 121, the fight went down and The Hammer grabbed a unanimous decision over Tito Ortiz. Now according to a report by Tatame Magazine and later confirmed by Dana White in Germany this morning, Tito Ortiz has not been cut from the organization and will face Little Nog at some point in March 2011, possibly at UFC 128.
