To add insult to lip splitting, face smashing, eye leaking injury...BJ Penn decided to land more punches on himself in his post-fight celebration than Diego Sanchez did the entire fight. Actually, BJ Penn landed twice as many punches as Diego and they were 100% accurate. From the clip you can tell BJ Penn was rocked around the 9th punch but managed to recover just in time to lick the blood off his gloves. Herb Dean cautiously looked on and at the last minute, decided not to stop BJ Penn's self-inflicted damage. Good call by Herb Dean.
