Dan Henderson vs. Lyoto Machida: a fight I desperately want to see, but only if it ends in a double knock out or draw. The only sports fan in more denial to the truth than an MMA fan with two favorites fighting is a Chicago Cubs fan in March. It sucks, but it's true. Leading up to the fight, you take in the banter, the open workouts, the awesome interviews, the anticipation, all while truthfully believing that in some fashion on Saturday night, this will be the first bout in history that leaves two men winners at the same time. That's not going to happen though. One of your favorites will fall. Hands used for celebrations will be sat upon, and urine will be sipped with great distress as a cold sweat forms on your brow.

Hendo. Machida. This fight is going to be either an absolute classic or will leave thousands of fans suicidal and roaming the streets in tattered dress shirts. I almost don't want it to happen, then I realize I am a fool for thinking that. Twelve days.

This is a slow-motion look at what Machida has in store for Hendo. Now if only the UFC would produce a video of Hendo throwing the H-Bomb in slo-mo over and over.

I like both of these guys. I said it many times before. This is a fight that I did not want to see happen. Two top contenders fighting each other. This is going to leave the light heavyweight division with one contender less. The rest of the LHW's are do not stand this chance against Jon Jones. I would've loved to seeing both of these guys by Jon Jones. Get ready for a LHW vacuum just let the heavyweight vacuum that recently occurred…

I totally agree. I wanted Dan to get his title shot, then Machida... then if they both lose have them fight down the road.

The UFC just wanted to punish Dan for dropping out of 151 on late notice, IMO.

Dan can knock out anyone if he lands, but I think Machida is a tough match-up for him stylistically: faster, not easily pulled into a brawl, good TDD, tricky south paw.
