Once GSP gets on top of Diaz and starts hitting him with those elbows he will open up Diaz like a can of tuna, because he cuts very easily and then the ref will stop the fight and it will be just just like when Diaz fought Noons for the first time IMO.

Yes I believe GSP will be on top for most of the fight as well. But I also know that GSP will get caught & sub'd. You cannot lay on Nick Diaz for 5 rounds without getting submitted.

GSP will only risk going into Nick Diaz's exceptional guard towards the end of the 5 rounds, but only then if Plan A isn't working.

Plan A: Do exactly what Condit did - Back-foot kickboxing.

The only difference, GSP can and will do it better than Condit.

Diaz doesn't have the wrestling to dictate the range of the fight.

GSP will be happy to jab and leg kick for 5 rounds.

It may not be the most entertaining way to win, but post-Serra, GSP knows that winning comes first.

That last comment reigns 100% true. He's a just get the W guy now after Serra TKO'd him. He doesn't ever wanna be embarrassed like that again. So he doesn't mind trading his integrity as a fighter for a W.
