Remember that Bare Knuckle Boxing show we told you about? Here's the official trailer for it...

Last month we told you about the revival of a sport that's been dead for over one hundred years -- Bare Knuckle Boxing. Except today's bare knuckle boxing isn't really that 'bare knuckle.' Start out promotion BKB ditched the gloveless sport and adopted a glove that's designed to only expose the fighter's knuckles. You can check out the glove here, or you can watch the trailer of BKB's first show which will debut on DirecTV July 27th below. It's your choice.

BKB Championship Boxing will use a 'Queensbury' ruleset, basically the same rules since the last time bare knuckle boxing was legal, back in the 1800s. The Queensbury ruleset is also the same set of rules that's utilized in nearly every Street MMA fight on MiddleEasy.

Zeus @MiddleEasy

Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of MiddleEasy and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool.

Clearly not a patriot's sport. I mean, that flag isn't even big enough to be seen from space...

the new gloves are worthless, if you look carefully you can see that the knuckles never even connect on a punch, its all glove

My thoughts exactly! If you look at the prototype glove though you can see that more knuckle is exposed, I want to know what happened to these?

I'm very sure those were all of there individual opinions. I didn't feel like I was being bullshitted at all, more KO's! No ropes to lean on! More action because it's a small fighting space! GTFO with that garbage. Fully agree with Systemrecords, only you don't have to look that carefully lol.

It doesn't even look like the knuckles can touch the opponet. They should just call this BWSGTHHIT Boxing With Smaller Gloves That Have Holes In Them. But I guess Bare Knuckle Boxing is a bit more catchy.

Queensbury rules also allowed you to clinch your opponent and use wrestling throws, and bouts lasted an unlimited number of rounds. This is why most "bareknuckle" matches by the 1880s consisted of 2 dudes hanging on each other's necks throwing body shots, hoping you could could wear the other guy down before you broke your own hand. So, basically whoever came up with BKB is full of shit as far as the "more exciting" thing goes.
