At Cage Warriors 57, Paul Daley opened up a cut the size of your hopes and dreams when you were a kid

At Cage Warriors 57, Paul Daley opened up a cut the size of your hopes and dreams when you were a kid

That's four wins in a row for Paul Daley and Joe Silva still hasn't picked up the phone to give Semtex a 'Welcome back to the UFC' call. You can't blame the guy for hitting Josh Koscheck after the bell at UFC 113. In his pre-fight interview, Daley did say that 'once he gets hit with my right hook, it'll be over.' He gave us a warning! The UFC should be thanking him actually.

We also can't forget that Daley's last loss was to Misaki, a guy that retired on a three-fight win streak and no one in the MMA media seemed to even care. We're probably still the only schlubs out there waiting for a rubber match with Dan Henderson.

Just minutes ago Paul Daley punctuated his 47th professional MMA fight by using his elbow to slice the head of Lukasz Chlewicki at Cage Warriors 57. @GrabakaHitman even captured this .gif of Daley admiring his handy work after the fight.

Zeus is represented by Galactus in his avatar image because he has an immature obsession with Marvel when they went all sci-fi back in the mid 80s. I'm the creator of MiddleEasy and Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Just kidding about the Nickelodeon stuff, but that would be really cool.

I believe the cut was from a knee in the clinch. Also, aside from being "b& 4 lyfe" from UFC, isn't he still under contract with Bellator?

Daley is having Visa issues which are keeping him out of the states.

The cut was actually from an elbow, haven't seen it myself but according to Daley it was from a short range elbow in the clinch.

"We knew he was a tough fighter and we knew some of the stuff he was going to do was difficult," said the 30-year-old Daley (33-12-2). "But I knew when we got in the clinch I'd be able to hit those short elbows and some of the things we've trained to do."

He did hit him with a nice short elbow, but there was no blood before he hit him in the same area with a knee a few seconds later.

i believe he said it was his left hook, not his right hook. its his left hook that he stopped several guys with like martin kampmann, dustin hazelitt, scott smith, etc.

Wow, Paul Daley smashed another can. I can't wait for him to go back to the UFC and get grapplefucked by some journeyman.

I heard last week Paul Daley got choked out by the plastic bag his sandwich came in at Subway.

I'd love for Daley to be given another shot in the UFC. The guy is one of the most entertaining fighters to watch and will stand and bang with anyone.

His fight with Nick Diaz still gives me goosebumps.

That would be an awesome main event rematch for the UFC.
