Michael Bisping attempts to dispel our SMRM while looking as stylish as possible

Let’s make this abundantly clear. We have no negative agenda towards Michael Bisping. In fact, at MiddleEasy we sort of like that guy. What other website would tell you to start your Friday mornings off with the smooth sounds of DJ Michael Bisping?

However, in our most recent Sunday Morning Rumor Mill we published an item that stated Michael Bisping visited Wild Card gym to work on his stand-up. After disrespecting his sparring partner and the entire gym, a coach told a professional boxer to enter the ring with him and eventually knocked him out to teach Bisping a lesson. Folks, if this wasn’t from a reliable source then we would have never placed it in our SMRM. People have been telling us that Bisping recently had a surgery — and we already know this. Both of those events are mutually exclusive, they’re simply not dependent on each other. This rumored incident happened before Bisping needed surgery.

Since the article was published, Bisping seemed to question the source of the rumor more than MiddleEasy, which is curious in itself. From what I understand the guy even appeared on the Jason Ellis show on SiriusXM to refute it.

We know the source of our rumor is a strong one, and we just can’t imagine a scenario in which this person would fabricate anything.

Let me just sum up the reaction from the entire MMA community. We stop doing the SMRM and all of you complain that you want it back up. We put the SMRM back up and all of you complain that it’s filled with rumors. You guys are more psychotic than Dexter.

Nevertheless, one must look at Bisping’s floral shirt in all of its glory as he addresses us and states he was never knocked out in sparring.
