Go behind the scenes of Assassin’s Creed Unity

Ska Punk band Operation Ivy once sang “Ain’t nothing wrong, with another Unity song”. 25 years after Operation Ivy put lyrics to vinyl the team at Ubisoft Montreal are all about uniting gamers in the first installment of Assassin’s Creed for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Assassin’s Creed: Unity hit shelves this week and you can find our full review here.

Our friends at The Fight Network caught up with Ubisoft Montreal Associate Producer Dan Sutton for a in-depth look at Assassin’s Creed Unity.

A big part of Assassin’s Creed Unity is the ability to fully customize your character. In theory no two single player characters should look alike with all the options to make what you wear and what weapons you carry uniquely your own.

Assassin’s Creed Unity also returns to the series to a city landscape. 1800th century Paris is given a full AC makeover and the environments are both lush as well as massive.

Even Assassins get lonely and Ubisoft Montreal has poured a ton of resources into giving the multiplayer experience maximum replay value. A standard co-op provides a side story to some of the events surrounding the French Revolution. The entire single player environment is also available to explore with multiple players controlling characters.

Unite Assassins in the name of reliving the French Revolution with you and all of your buddies donning cloaks.
