Monkey Island, Sam and Max Hit the Road, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, TIE FIGHTER VS X-WING!!!! They’re here… Finally. We have Disney to thank for this, as only a company as mismanaged as LucasArts towards the end would be sitting on a pile of gold like their back catalog of adventure games from yesteryear and not do anything with them. But now… Oh yes… Now we can go back with absolute ease, and replay these classics.
I can’t stress enough how important this is. Sam and Max Hit the Road is by far my favorite adventure game of all time, with Indiana Jones ATFOA not being far behind. Combine that with the best space dogfighting game of all time, and you have a lot of games that end in ‘all time’ ready to be devoured for your gaming pleasure. Who needs new releases? What’s old is new again, and this is a glorious day. God I love Sam and Max.
The titles are a little expensive (for GoG, thanks again Disney!), with Tie Fighter and X-Wing coming in at $9.99, Sam and Max at $5.99 and Indiana Jones at $5.99, but that’s worth it. You’ll get hours of enjoyment from these titles. Click here to check ’em out.
