Damn, Minecraft on PS4 failed final testing, and is now delayed

This will inevitably bring about the console vs PC “master race” debate again, but Minecraft for Playstation 4 failed its final pre-release testing. We’re not really sure what exactly failed, or what bugs were present, but it’s very unlikely that Minecraft will be coming to PS4 this month. Bummer. We were looking forward to this.

Sure, the PC version is more in-depth, and overall better, but there’s something to be said about sitting on a couch with a controller drinking a lukewarm beer while building towers, villages, and all that other weird stuff we here in the Middle Easy offices like to create. The beer was originally ice cold, but it’s very easy to get caught up in Minecraft, and then when you finally reach a point where you can take a sip an hour has passed.

4J Studios is also working on bugs in the PSVita and Xbox One versions as well. This sucks.
