My god, we’ve been waiting for this, but I still don’t feel ready for it. How can I be? I feel like I’m so incredibly busy at this point that the Steam Summer sale just snuck up on me. I knew that it would come, but this soon? Time truly is a flat circle because I’ve lost all concept of it. Thanks, McConaughey. Today is day one, June 19th, with the sale going until June 29th. Remember that there will be games NOT on the front page on sale as well and you can wait for them to hit the main page at additional discount, but, what if they don’t?
That’s why these sales are so stressful.
Day one looks like this;
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion - 80% Off - $7.99
The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition - 80% Off - #3.99
DayZ - 15% Off - $25.49
Far Cry 3 - 75% Off - $7.49
Pre-Purchase Dead Rising 3 - 25% Off - $37.49
Democracy 3 - 66% Off - $8.49
Don't Starve - 75% Off - $3.74
Divinity: Original Sin - 20% Off - $31.99
XCOM: Enemy Unknown - 75% Off - $7.49
Remember that Flash Sales go down every eight hours and that you can vote for them. If I’m giving a cursory glance at the above there isn’t much truly “new” since the last batch of Steam Sales, but The Witcher 2 and XCOM at these prices are must-haves if you don’t already. The rest depends on taste. DayZ on slight discount is as good as you’ll get for it because that bad boy won’t be on sale until it’s in full release. Far Cry 3 seems worth it at that price, as does Don’t Starve.
