You should all be disappointed if the next edition of Mortal Kombat doesn’t have a cheat code that harnesses the power of a Nick Diaz’s middle finger. The greatest accomplishment that I’ve ever witnessed was a pizza delivery guy defeating Mortal Kombat 2 without losing a single round with only one quarter. The moon landing was cool, but I didn’t see it live. That Friday night, inside the 7-11 corner store off of Beltline and Garland road, I was in the presence of awesomeness — and it was awesome.
Just hours ago Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon announced the tenth installment of the Mortal Kombat franchise and released this trailer to boot. Mortal Kombat X comes out in 2015 and will be a cross-gen game, which basically means it won’t be truly next-gen. Bummer.
