Team Alpha Male was stagnant. They couldn’t get over the hump. They were a bunch of wrestlers, while talented, couldn’t seem to adjust to the modern era of MMA. Their games were incomplete. The missing piece of the puzzle was Duane Ludwig. From December 2012 to May 2014, Ludwig was the head coach at Team Alpha Male. During that stretch, TAM went on an incredible winning streak. Finishing their opponents with vicious strikes. Everyone’s game was elevated, and title shots were being handed out like suntan lotion outside of the Alpha Male gym in sunny Sacramento.
