On Rousey title shot, with a straight face Bethe Correia says “I threw the bait and she took it”

Despite looking down a barrel of a gun Bethe Correia doesn’t appear to be blinking. Betting odds, science hypothesizes, and advanced math equations all point to Correia getting embarrassed at the hands of Ronda Rousey at UFC 190. If Correia lasts longer than 60 seconds on Saturday night she may earn a $50k performance bonus just for simply not getting her ass kicked that fast.

Cash based performance bonuses for not losing to Rousey in a timely manner! The goal posts and rim have been adjusted for you Correia.

How did Correia earn a shot against Rousey without a top 15 win on her record again? For Brazilian kicks and judo giggles, look at Rousey’s last five victims and ask yourself if Correia could beat any of them? Cat Zingano? Nope. Alexis Davis? Probably not. Sara McMann? No. Miesha Tate? Not a chance. Liz Carmouche? Now we’re talking!

Correia may have baited Rousey and the UFC into earning a title shot at UFC 190 but now she actually has to reel in by far the biggest fish of her MMA career. Correia is already confused on what to do with her hands during a face-off with Rousey, how is she not going to crack under the weight of the moment at UFC 190?
