Breaking: Andrei Arlovski kisses Stanley Cup then reportedly gets next title shot vs. Fabricio Werdum

Chicago is now the city of champions. Fresh off the Chicago Blackhawks hoisting the Stanley Cup, hometown UFC hero Andrei Arlovski is reportedly the first man to get a crack at newly minted heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum. Arlovski’s victory parade down Michigan Avenue will consist of Belarusian supermodels, confetti, the champ’s pet pit bull Maximus Arlovski dressed as Harry Caray, and it will be catered with nothing but Chicago style hotdogs.

If you want to celebrate Arlovski beating Werdum and becoming UFC champion the right you way, you will have sport peppers on your hotdog and you will learn to like it. Sorry Junior dos Santos, Arlovski is line jumping you in the UFC heavyweight rankings and if he wins the belt he will serve processed meats on a poppy seed roll.

Windy City MMA insider @FrontRowBrian was the first to report of the UFC giving Arlovski a title fight versus Werdum. The 36 year old Arlovski is currently on a five fight winning streak, with his most recent win coming via first round knockout of Travis Browne. The UFC heavyweight champion from February 2005 to April 2006, the Arvolvski-Werdum title fight would be a rematch of a three round win by “The Pitbull” at UFC 70.
