There are few times when the scrap pack lose a decision and completely understand why and how they lost. The look back, recognize the mistakes that were made, acknowledge the scoring and the ebb and flow of the match then quietly nod and shake hands with all then walk away.
Last night, was not one of those nights. As we wrote here before, we believed Gil won 29/28, but shit happens and a split decision was brought on by Eddie’s heart and determination. The only real robbery in this fight was the UFC robbing the fans of what should’ve been a five round fight. It sucks.
But, back to the scrap pack. Nate Diaz is pissed. He doesn’t get how Gil lost. He just doesn’t.
