Peter Aerts has retired, now we MUST watch his greatest knockouts (and his entire career)

That’s it, at 44-years-old, Peter Aerts is hanging up his gloves and calling it a spectacular and historic career. He is Mr. K-1, with 3 K-1 Grand Prix wins, 4 runner up spots and a third place finish. That’s some incredible, almost impossible to comprehend accomplishments right there considering the quality of the opponents he was fighting in K-1 between 1994 and 2010. Peter Aerts will finish his career on the typical downslide you see in combat sports athletes, going 2-5-1 since losing to Overeem in the finals of the 2010 K-1.

But still, them’s the breaks. Time defeats all men, and even Peter Aerts has to stop fighting sometime. So now, the only thing worth doing is the obvious: watch the best of his knockouts.

Ironically, his losses and decision wins are just as entertaining if not more so, but who has the time for that? Oh wait, we do. Here’s the ENTIRE PETER AERTS CAREER PLAYLIST, followed by his best knockouts.
