Legal expert Rampage Jackson negotiates his way out of Bellator by offering Scott Coker free UFC tickets

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is a Renaissance Man. After conquering the worlds of Ultimate Fighting, Total Nonstop Action Pro Wrestling, acting like Mr. T, and on camera interviews with female reporters, Rampage has entered the world of contract law. Now stuck in the middle between a UFC rock and a Bellator hard place, Rampage is putting all his legal expertise to good use via Twitter.

Previously on MMA’s Better Call Page, after his fight with King Mo in May 2014, Rampage was promised by Bellator that if the Spike TV promotion hit a certain number of pay per view buys he would receive a bonus. After the Bellator card didn’t reach that set number and Rampage was not booked another fight, Team Jackson sent Bellator a termination notice in November 2014. In December of 2014 Rampage was booked for UFC 186 versus Fábio Maldonado by Zuffa.

To sum it up Bellator wants Rampage to complete the rest of his contract, UFC needs Rampage to help anchor a pay per view card, and Jackson wants to make as much money as possible at this point of his long MMA career. With hopes that Bellator president Scott Coker would forget about all the legal trouble Rampage is causing, the former UFC champ offered him free tickets to his UFC 186 fight.

“Ooooohh free tickets? Thanks Rampage! Wait a second….” pondered a confused but interested in free stuff Coker.
