LOS ANGELES, California, January 26th — Many critics of Mixed Martial Arts and the UFC have noted that the sport and brand have had issues over the last few years with some big issues. Some of those big issues include fighter pay and mainstream acceptance. UFC fighter Luke Rokhold helped to break down the doors of perception by appearing on Bravo’s “The Millionaire Matchmaker” where some woman helps rich men to find the love of their lives on television.
Not only is this mainstream acceptance, but this addresses fighter pay by outwardly telling the world that Luke Rockhold belongs on a show about millionaires. Dana White has made a lot of millionaires and it’s time that we recognize that even a fighter like Luke Rockhold is considered one by the standards of this Bravo television show.
