Seattle superhero turned MMA fighter Phoenix Jones returns to the cage at Super Fight League America 2

MMA needs more superhero crossovers. Born Benjamin John Francis Fodor, the superhero known as Phoenix Jones would rise from his humble beginnings to patrol the city of Seattle, Washington in a costume made of a bulletproof vest and stab plating body armor. A superhero by night, Jones fights under his surname of Ben Fodor and has already amassed a 4-0 pro MMA record.

The younger brother of Strikeforce vet Caros Foder, Phoenix Jones’ next fight will be a title fight in the co-main event of Super Fight League America 2. Cutting down to welterweight with his mask and costume off Jones is matched up with fellow unbeaten Washington state fighter Tyson Cunningham.

As a superhero Phoenix Jones has made a name for himself as the leader of the Rain City Superhero Movement. If the Rain City Superhero Movement were a MMA fight team they could have had great feuds with the Lion’s Den, Chute Boxe, and Hammer House gyms.

Known for stopping crimes like preventing an intoxicated man from entering his car, pepper spraying a man after he attempted to steal a bus, and preventing back alley drugs deals from going down, Phoenix Jones the MMA fighter could be one of the most popular or most hated MMA fighters ever if he plays his cards right. MMA fans love stealing city buses.

While Batman would probably get fast tracked right into the UFC if he ever crossed over into MMA, Jones will pay his dues like the common men and women he protects by fighting in regional MMA first. With his secret identity already unmasked Phoenix Jones and Ben Fodor may start of movement of more super heroes fighting in MMA as their undercover day job.
