A Lesson in Street MMA: Don’t get choked out amidst the mountains of British Columbia

We’ve been all over the world for Street MMA matches, from Lithuania, to Hawaii, in fact. But most matches lately take place on the cold, hard cement of a metropolitan area. I’m always interested in seeing a highlight or battle, but there’s something about megalopolitan Street MMA that just brings me down, man.

Not today. No, today this Street MMA sent to us from reader Dee Thongrivong takes place in the beautiful province of British Columbia. Look at the rolling hills dotted with trees, applauding the scramble that leads to a rear naked choke. Watch the mountains shake as the chokee slams the choker on the gravel to no avail. It’s short, sweet, and full of fresh air. Ahh. What a lovely day in the B-Col. That’s what the kids call it.

That backdrop, too. Which has a double meaning here.
