Melvin Manhoef hits Doug Marshall so hard he breaks the physics of Bellator

Few things in life deliver, but you can bank on the sun rising, Rousey by armbar, and Melvin Manhoef putting on an entertaining fight. Those are the only constants in life in 2014, it is known.

Tonight we got exactly what was expected between Doug Marshall and Melvin Manhoef, and it ended in such a violent knockout for Melvin Manhoef that he actually broke the Bellator physics engine and sent Marshall sprawling to the shiny white mat in the most impressive of fashions. Marshall had nothing for Melvin, nothing. He was getting destroyed on every level.

Then after the fight, Scott Coker snapped his magnificent fingertips and Melvin was granted a title shot. That’s right, Melvin takes on the winner of next week’s title fight between Shlemenko and Brandon Halsey. Please win that Shlemenko, I really want to see you fight Melvin.

Bellator is so much better without the tournament format.

Zprophet has the replay of course.
