Jon Jones Injured – Cormier Fight Moved to January 3rd

Were you excited about Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier at UFC 178? HA! Surprise! It’s not happening at UFC 178 anymore. Oh no, it’s moved back to January 3rd now. Sucks, huh? Apparently Jon Jones suffered an ankle injury and will no longer be able to train properly to be ready in time for UFC 178. So now the hottest UFC fight in a very, very long time has been delayed five months and we all kind of feel bummed that it’s gonna cool off by then. I mean, it has to, right?

Jones would have to “literally kill Cormier” like he threatened to for this thing to get its momentum back. Someone cue up Gus Johnson telling us that sometimes these things happen in MMA, because they do.
