When I first got into MMA I went into it blind for the most part. I didn’t have any friends who were into it more than casually. It wasn’t like in other sports such as boxing where my father was a fan of the sport and I gravitated to the fighters he enjoyed. This left me to find fighters I enjoyed purely on my own. I always found myself gravitating to either guys who had a pro wrestling side to them or guys who were just violent. So I feel it goes without saying that I grew fond of Chute Boxe.
Ever since the demise of Pride Chute Boxe has been on life support. The last fighter who seemed to have any kind of momentum from Chute Boxe was Maiquel Falcao. Until recently. Over the weekend he rematched with Vyacheslav Vasilevsky losing in just 37 seconds.
