It’s a bash at the beach with Arrows MMA and their XP modifiers

Well…there you have it. Bash at the Beach has come to the world of MMA. There’s still some Summer left so if you haven’t already made your yearly familial vacation plans, perhaps you should consider a trip to…wherever the hell this is. Beach MMA is more family oriented than Disney World, people. Load up the kids, pack up that Toyota Sienna, and enjoy some tropical combat entertainment courtesy of the folks at Arrows that looks like something out of the beach scene from Skyfall.

From what I can infer from their website, Arrows basically decides how much a fighter earns based on how they perform during the fight. This isn’t like a performance bonus that the UFC uses. No. This is a totally XFL style earning system. You earn money based on how much XP you gain during the fight. Yup. MMARPG is now a thing, folks. Punches earn points. Kicks earn points. Throws and grapples earn points. Then there are XP modifiers based on where a fighter lands a strike, or whether or not they use a choke or joint submission. Straight up V.AT.S. style.
