Conor McGregor beats down Diego Brandao, demands whiskey, title shots and football stadiums

Conor McGregor just did what we thought was impossible and somehow elevated his hype level past code red and all the way to code green (because he’s Irish, bad joke, sorry). But let’s get down to the nitty gritty here: the spinning kick to start the fight when it looked like Brandao wanted to touch gloves (or did he?) was questionable at best, Conor held the cage a pretty good amount but, as they say, let’s not let the facts get in the way of a good story here. McGregor blew the roof off of the arena with what could’ve been the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard attending a UFC event and he has propelled himself on a wave of whiskey and pomade straight into a top ten fight in the featherweight division. Probably against Dustin Poirier.

When the mic was put to his face, McGregor made his desires known; he wants whiskey, a title shot and something about football stadiums. Maybe to fight in one, or maybe he wants one as a gift, we’re not sure. Still, we are entering the McGregor era. That much is undeniable.
