WHOATV just filmed some great close-quarters footage of the UFC Fight Night: Dublin weigh-ins. Like one step better than strapping a Go Pro right to Joe Rogan’s broadcast-bombing forehead.
Late 19th century style pugilists Brad Pickett and Ian McCall faced off like a couple kindly, if not “creepy,” gentlemen. But the discomfort really kicks in at the 44-second mark, where a weirdly intense Conor McGregor manages to make Diego Brandao look like he’s warming up for a nice game of mixed-couples badminton. It takes a guy with a walkie talkie to interrupt Conor’s psychic tractor beam, and Diego actually looks a little sad about the whole thing as he slinks off in slow motion.
Enjoy the intensity.
