I’m not sure where I can find this data, but in the vast history of videogames predicting the outcomes of sporting matches, how many times has the game been correct? After reading this article about the death of the NBA in the 2K series, I can’t look at videogame simulation the same way ever again, so I reject one of these predictions made by some godless AI in this video and fully embrace the other, because we know one of the predictions in this is 100% correct and is going to absolutely come true. Perhaps right down to the method of victory.
But then, maybe we’ll see life imitate art (because videogames are art) and Crees Weidman will come out against Lyoto Machida hook spamming to the body until Lyoto’s stamina is way down, then he’ll be flash KOd and will fall slowly to the mat with zero follow-up punches from Crees.
