Take a trip to West Africa and watch the rise of jiu-jitsu in this documentary

When many of you saw those insane Wolof Laamb fighting videos that emerged a couple years ago, a few called for Dana White to hold an event in Africa, while most of were confused as to why grown men in loin clothes were touching their opponent’s hands for upwards of fifteen minutes before making a move. Jokes on you. Apparently Wolof Laamb is a multi-million dollar sport that nets the winners of fights roughly around $205,000 per bout. While this may be a derivative of African MMA, one would have to look towards jiu-jitsu to make these athletes complete MMA fighters. Fortunately for West Africa, the jitz game is growing strong, and Genghis Con even made a documentary called Rollin’ In Dakar for your viewing pleasure. Check it out.
