Ask anyone that’s partied with Nick Diaz in the past two years, a drunk Nick Diaz is the friendliest Nick Diaz you could ever imagine. It’s like the dude turns into this jovial cloud of well wishes and well-constructed thoughts, and he loves telling the world what’s on his mind. When I interviewed Nick for High Times Magazine a few months ago, he went off on how there’s a doctor in Israel that’s trying to link marijuana to the damage reversal of brain concussions. Fast forward to UFC 170 and I remember a point at a pre-party in which Nick Diaz started telling me how the Smurfs cartoon is just a metaphor for Communism.
