They call Khabib Nurmagomedov ‘The Eagle,’ but he wrestles bears in his spare time, so perhaps he should find a different moniker that directly points out that he wrestles bears in his spare time. Perhaps the nickname Khabib ‘The Spare Time Bear Wrestler’ Nurmagomedov would be more adequate when he walks out to the Octagon. It would easily identify the level of bad ass he truly is to the casual MMA fan — although we’re certain PETA won’t appreciate this. There’s just something about a bear restrained with chains on he plains of Siberia that could be bothersome to animal activists. However in the video we do see Nurmagomedov try to give the bear a high five and it doesn’t respond, so maybe this bear is just a real d**k and he deserves to be muzzled and chained.
