Bellator PPV will now be offered for FREE on Spike TV

Bellator just wrapped up an emergency phone press-conference and Bjorn Rebney just announced that the Bellator PPV will be offered for free on Spike TV on November 2nd.

Apparently Tito Ortiz still wanted to go on with the fight but his doctor advised that it could lead to paralysis if his injury wasn’t fixed. Bellator still has plans for a PPV, but they will postpone it probably until 2014. The promotion was thinking about putting in Atilla Veigh to face Rampage Jackson, but those ideas were scrapped and Rampage will not face a replacement. Also Eddie Alvarez doesn’t lose out on his PPV bonus, which I still don’t see how that doesn’t happen. If you purchased the PPV you will get a full refund.

There you have it, all the notes from the Bellator emergency phone call/press conference.
