Ben Rothwell pulled off the world's first shuffle-to-KO dance at UFC 164

Ben Rothwell pulled off the world's first shuffle-to-KO dance at UFC 164

At UFC 164, Ben Rothwell managed to save all of his energy meter in order to pull off the controller combination for his special move, and land it. That's a rare thing to see in MMA, almost unheard of actually. We dig his pre-special move feet movement also. The only thing that was missing was a ridiculous wave of pulsating colors emanating from his body and some cheesy Japanese dude yelling 'That was great!' at the end of it.

Check out how Rothwell finished off Brandon Vera at UFC 164 and props to Zprophet for the gif.

I like both guys. Good to see Big Ben improving. I hop Brandon retires. He's had a good career, but he has also absorbed a lot of punishment. He'd make a great coach.

I really hope Vera is done in the UFC now. He makes way too much money for way too unentertaining fights.

good fight i thought. vera look really sharp and fast in the first round and won that round imo..rothwell is an animal though. that guy eats punches like theyre nothing. vera slowed down in the 2nd and rothwell kept up his pace and was to much...if vera can ever get his cardio right i think he can be a solid heavyweight though.

Vera has wrestling chops, why not friggen use them? I know he likes to strike, but why not come in with a real game plan like surprising a mofo once in a while? Ben clearly had his number and it was only a matter of time. Maybe Vera should go fight for Glory or something if all he wants to do is strike....
