Tyrone Spong just kicked the legs of Angel DeAnda like Angel DeAnda's legs owed him money for some reason

Tyrone Spong just kicked the legs of Angel DeAnda like Angel DeAnda's legs owed him money for some reason

All day, we were like: "Nothin' much going on today, relax, take the day off. YOLO. Just get up the Spong .gif." Well, there was no Spong .gif. Some dude named Angel DeAnda just stood right in front of Tyrone Spong and ate up Spong's offense like it was some sort of delicious frozen yogurt with strawberries and ****. No one knows how the 5 foot 8, light heavyweight, DeAnda came from, but clearly he popped some sort of invulnerability potion because he was just shaking off Spong, who was absolutely expecting to finish this DeAnda.

And that's how one of the weirdest nights of fighting in years went down. If I didn't know better, I would've thought this went down in Texas. There was even a demon laugh halfway through the show. Did anyone else hear that? So goodnight, World Series of Fighting 4. We will remember you forever for Todd Harris' fantastic commentary, Bas Rutten's lucid observations, and the unlimited glory and FREE Boost Mobile phones* for ALL the winners.

It almost reminded me of Pat Barry vs Beltran. That guy held it together pretty well.

i liked his composure. for only his 2nd mma fight he seemed pretty comfortable inside the cage. deanda is tough as hell he took some huge leg kicks and a few really hard punches....i look forward to seeing spong develop . he has all the tools.

I thought it was gonna be brutal.

Who is this dude with love handles fighting this killer?!

But the guy held tough for 3 rounds with one of the greatest strikers in the world.

Nobody can ever take that away from him.

Apparently he even won a round on one judges card...

It's almost like Spong kicks harder in MMA. Like he feels like there is much less a chance of getting checked like in a kickboxing match. It is still a huge downfall for a lot of MMA fighters that they don't have the timing/instinct for checking kicks that most stand up only fighters have down cold.
