Blast to the Past: If Jim Kelly says Fedor is the greatest, you have to believe him

I really wanted to start off this article with ‘LOL at these TUF noobs trying to school Jim Kelly!’, but then I’m reminded of an entire generation of MMA fans who’ve never laid eyes on Enter The Dragon, Black Belt Jones, Three the Hard Way, Hot Potato, Black Samurai and The Tattoo Connection. You can’t call yourself an MMA fan if Jamie Yager was the first guy with an afro you’ve seen pull off a high kick.

Jim Kelly was cleaning clocks before you were [Insert infamous Renzo Gracie quote here]. Early this morning the world found out Jim Kelly died at the age of 67 from a long bout with cancer. Martial artists turned movie star turned professionally ranked tennis player — basically the guy did everything you could only dream of. We’ve lost another great iconic figure this year, which can only make people realize that this ‘life’ stuff — it needs to be cherished.

In this special edition of ‘Blast to the Past,’ Jim Kelly lets MMA fans know that he’s well aware of who the greatest of all time is and if you disagree with him, you will undoubtedly be ridiculed for the rest of your life.

RIP Jim Kelly, you will be forever missed.
