Baseball being played in Halloween costumes? Baseball being played in Halloween costumes

For about six years my friends have been begging me to get my legs cut off, or allow them to cut my legs off.

You may ask yourself, why would anyone who calls themselves a friend of another human being, want them to get their legs chopped off? Well, the answer is simple, my friends all thought I looked like Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump. For obvious reasons I politely declined their offer to cut off my legs.

Now, a few months ago my friends mom slipped on some gravy and did a number on her leg — torn meniscus and some broken bones mixed in there as well. Her leg was in rough shape, not being able to walk she got a wheelchair. About three weeks ago, she was able to walk on her own, very gingerly, but walk on her own she did. This led to her wheelchair being unused. Now this brings me to the most important part of this whole story. My friends finally got their wish, or at least the closest thing to their wish. I was Lieutenant Dan for a Halloween party this past Saturday. To my surprise, I won $250 bucks which bought my friends and I food at the diner.

Finally, this brings us to the San Diego State University Halloween costume contest. No Stephen Strasburg wasn’t there, but they did play baseball in their Halloween costumes. There were some pretty inspired costumes, but for my money, the Cool Running bobsled team ran away with the victory.
