Breaking: CM Punk slammed with lawsuit by WWE doc, other pro wrestling docs await verdict

The pro wrestling world waits with baited breath as the trial of the century may have just been drop kicked into motion. CM Punk, who some refer to as Phil Brooks, has been cross body blocked where it’s hurts the most; his words. The Doctor of the WWE Universe, senior ringside physician Dr. Christopher Amann is reportedly elbow dropping Mr. Punk with a defamation lawsuit. In the legal world a defamation lawsuit is often referred to as “The Doomsday Device”.

Our favorite Cook County printed newspaper, the Cook County Record was first to report the news of the lawsuit.

Dr. Amann also has included Scott Colton also known as Colt Cabana also known as Scotty Goldman also known as Matt Classic also known as Masked Flipper #7 in the court case.

From the Cook County Record report:

“In his complaint, Amann says the statements made the defendants “are highly offensive in that they accuse [him] of a gross lack of integrity as a medical doctor, an inability to perform his professional duties as a medical doctor, and in placing the financial interest of his employer above life-threatening health conditions of his patients.”

Amann is represented by Phillip J. Zisook and Brian D. Saucier of Deutsch, Levy & Engel in Chicago.”

The medical physician who successfully treated Daniel Bryan’s shoulder at WrestleMania 30 and Brock Lesnar’s breakage of all his ribs at the 2015 Royal Rumble, Dr. Amann seeks more than $1 million dollars’ worth of damages in the suit. Dr. Amann will also seek an undetermined monetary amount of punitive damages due to alleged claims by both Punk and Cabana made on the November 26th episode of the critically acclaimed “Art of Wrestling” podcast. Money in the bank indeed.

Rumors and internet reports have also surfaced of more wrestling MD’s coming out of parts unknown in search of possible million dollar lawsuit damages. The Doctor of Style, Slick Rick is in discussions with his legal team about a “Mega Powers” lawsuit. Missing since around 1997, Doctor Isaac Yankem DDS has reportedly dug deeper into the hurtful and defaming words of Bret “The Hitman” Hart. The witch doctor Papa Shango elected not to comment until after his weekly Friday afternoon meeting with his voodoo based legal counsel.
